💫 What is Aeons?
Aeons is a fully collaborative My Hero Academia anthology zine and merch project centered around the romantic relationship between Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku, themed around reincarnation and love as a choice.The overarching story of Aeons is our Wonder Duo reincarnating throughout the multiverse and falling in love in each lifetime. The “framework” for our project is that Katsuki and Izuku are gods who decide to reincarnate as mortals to see if they'll find each other again in their new lives—and if they'll choose each other. Every story in our zine (and its connected art) follows one of their eight mortal lives, each one building on top of the last.💫 Wait, what do you mean by fully collaborative?
Unlike a regular zine/anthology, which will often center around a theme and/or ship but otherwise contains completely disconnected content, this entire project is collaborative. Each story, artwork, and merch item is connected.All creators are still in control of what they create, but instead of working alone to create entirely separate, individual pieces, everyone will work together to create a cohesive project!💫 What kind of zine is this? What's a zine, anyway?
A zine is a small-circulation fanmade magazine published by small groups of content creators. They can be either physical or digital, and sometimes include themed merchandise bundles for purchase.This particular zine is a flash zine. That means we will have no interest check phase, no applications, and no social media presence until necessary. We won’t announce the zine until we are ready for pre-orders to begin!💫 Is this project safe-for-work?
The main, physical zine is SFW, though some content may be considered PG-13. Content warnings will be given if necessary. There will also be a free 🔥 PDF, available via sign-up form to anyone who has purchased the main zine, as well as a SFW bonus "behind-the-scenes" PDF available for purchase in our shop.💫 Will there be applications?
No, there will be no applications. Due to the highly collaborative nature of this project, Aeons is an invite-only zine.💫 Can minors participate?
No. As this is a for-profit zine, all contributors and moderators must be over 18.💫 I have a question that wasn't answered here!
